Ryan Gennette, MSN, NP-C, Adds To MSU Breslin Cancer Center

NURSE PRACTITIONER FOCUSES ON EDUCATING PATIENTS AND FAMILIES
Ryan Gennette, MSN, NP-C, received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Cleveland State University, followed by a Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain University. Gennette was recently a nurse practitioner at the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, where he assisted oncology patients with chemotherapy, side-effect monitoring, and symptom management.
In his role at the Breslin Cancer Center, Gennette will be working with other hematology and oncology physicians to conduct follow-up visits with breast cancer patients. His work also involves providing comprehensive patient-centered care to all oncology patients, with an emphasis on patient and family education, symptom and medication management, and supportive care.
Gennette joins our multispecialty group as a board-certified nurse practitioner. He is adding to our complement of 225 providers performing cutting-edge research, teaching medical and nursing students, and providing exceptional care to the Greater Lansing community.
